The bags hold a pile of paper 40cm high and about 15kg in weight.
Please fill the bags with as much paper as you can as long as the tie will seal the bag.
This is approximately 6/7 reams of paper if stacked neatly. They are similar size to a rubble bag (large sack of potatoes/coal).
You can put cardboard leaver arch folders into the bags but this will take up more space than just paper.
We also have bags for Mixed Media available this includes plastic items for shredding that can’t be mixed with paper. For example: CD’s, DVDs, Acetates, Laminated Paper, ID cards, X-Rays and camera film.
